Buy itThe year is 2011, and what starts as a pervasive and inexplicable illness ends up as a zombie infestation that devastates the world's population. Taking the form of a biologist's illustrated journal found in the aftermath of the attack, this pulse-pounding, suspenseful tale of zombie apocalypse follows the narrator as he flees from city to countryside and heads north to Canada, where he hopes the undead will be slowed by the colder climate. Encountering scattered humans and scores of the infected along the way, he fills his notebook with graphic drawings of the zombies and careful observations of their behavior, along with terrifying tales of survival. This frightening new contribution to the massively popular zombie resurgence will keep fans on the edge of their seats right up to the very end.

My husband and son could not put this book down. I bought it for one and the other just couldn't wait to read it. They both enjoyed it.

If you like Zombies and the length of comic books you will love this, it was too short for my taste, and not very deep so don't expect to get lost in a lot of Zombie stuff for a while between the covers of this book. However, for being short and shallow it still is pretty fun to have, and as a Zombie enthusiast it's good reference material to have on your shelf for when the outbreak does occur.

I purchased this book in hopes of a good long zombie novel. What I got was a short story with a lot of pictures. The illustrations are well done, the story is average. A neat book, but not much bang for your buck.

Zombie is now a class all it's own. Books, music, films, and more all cater to this new category. This book is a face medical journal with AMAZING art and detailed accounts of various subjects. If you like ZOMBIES then you will love this. There is not much to write on this as it's all art and some words. I do recommend flipping through it at a store if you can before buying as taste in art is subjective.

I liked the book up until the ending. I won't give anything away, but while I loved the journey the main character took, I thought the ending fell very flat. It was very unsatisfying.
As far as zombie books go, I thought it was "okay." Again, if the ending was stronger I think I would have liked the book more.
